Basmati Rice is a premium long-grain rice known for its distinct aroma and delicate flavor. Mogra are broken rice grains less than 60% of the full length of the rice grain. Patanjali Shakti Rice Mogra (Pusa Basmati 1121) variety is highly sought after for its superior quality, slender grains, and fluffy texture. PB 1121 is a long, slender, and fragrant Basmati variety of Rice. When cooked, the rice does not turn sticky, and possesses minimum breadth-wise expansion. Cooked rice is fluffy white with pleasant aroma and very tasty to eat.

Basmati Rice
Put boiling water to an open bowl. Add Rice slowly with gentle stirring. Cook for 7-8 minutes on medium heat. Drain extra boiling water.
Put water and rice in a pan, tighten the lid and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and allow the pan to stand covered for 5 minutes.
Put soaked rice and add measured quantity of water in a bowl & stir. Select cooking option and timings as per the available oven. Remove from the  oven and let it stand covered for 8-10 minutes before serving. For a 650/900 watt oven, use 250 - 300 g of Basmati rice at a time.
